This type of an account is ideal for handling day-to-day financing. It makes it easy for you to manage your money. You can have your salary or other regular or irregular payments sent to your personal current account. By means of standing orders you can streamline such payments as rent, expenses for electricity, telephone, insurance expenses, regular savings deductions, loans, etc. On opening of your account you can apply for a domestic payment card. You can use it in more than 1,400 ATM terminals and at any points of sale marked with the logo ZBK or Maestro. The personal growing account earns a progressive interest depending on the amount of the balance.

How to use the account

Any person signed on the signature card can operate the account. The account cannot be used for entrepreneurial purposes.
About depositing
- in cash in any the bank branch or other financial institution
- by remittance of your salary to the account or by regular deductions from your salary
- by transfer from another account held in any financial institution
- at the post office with the postal order type U
- deposit to the bank depository
About withdrawing
- with a payment card at ATMs marked by the ZBK symbol and at all points of sale with POS terminals (marked by the symbols ZBK or Maestro)
- by means of payment orders (one-off or standing order)
- in cash or by cheque at the bank branches
- via electronic banking
Foreign Currency Personal Account

The foreign currency personal account can be opened on the basis of a written contract. For entering into the contract you need an identification card. On opening the account you have to deposit the minimum amount in relation to the currency in which your account will be maintained. You can dispose with your money in these foreign currencies: USD, GBP, CZK. For non-cash operations without the possibility to issue a payment card, also in other currencies.

About depositing

Crediting the account and putting money into it is not time or value limited. You can deposit cash or transfer money from another account maintained with the bank or any other bank. You can deposit your money in other currency than in which the account is maintained. The deposit will be converted into the account currency. You have to submit a letter of application until 10:30 a. m. for non-cash transfer between accounts held in different currencies and placed with the bank.
About withdrawing

You can withdraw your money up to the amount of the minimum available balance equivalent to EUR 1,000. If you want to withdraw more than the above quoted amounts, you have to report it to the bank at least two days before the withdrawal. There is no limit set to non-cash transactions. You can withdraw or deposit your money in other currencies than the one your account is maintained in.
What about the interest

It depends on the interest rates on the foreign exchange market. The interest will be credited to your account on the monthly basis and always at the end of the calendar month.
